A Prayer for Peace

O Gracious God our Father Lord, You are Jehovah Shalom, You are my Prince of Peace. I come to you laying it all at your feet. Father, forgive me for not seeking you as much as I should, my soul is forever grateful for the grace you show me daily. Lord, You know the very things that I am enduring, trying to distract me from your constant love and sovereignty in my life. You tell the winds and the waves when to be still, and they obey, so I know that all I have to do is open my mouth, speak to my situation, have faith, and my mind will rest assure in your promises as I watch the situation change! Teach me how to see through my situations on today and see you. Please give me the mental strength to be present in each moment of today and not wonder or worry about things that I have absolutely no control over. Free my mind O God. Please lay your hands on my mind so that I may be able to think clearly so that I may continue on in your strength. Your word instructs me to let the peace of christ rule in my heart, for you have CALLED me to PEACE and to be THANKFUL with ALL of my HEART. I declare that no matter what happens, my peace in you WILL remain. I love you, I will trust you and you are Great! Amen and Thank God.
