July 8th, 2018 I was re-baptized.

I didn't create invitations to invite anyone. I didn't even want anyone to be there.

I envisioned the re-baptism to be extremely intimate.

I had a vision.

& Like the residue of glory, I had on all white.

My surroundings resembled -- i imagined at least, how it was for Paul when the Lord converted him. Or maybe even Moses, when he saw the face of God.

It was just me and my watch care Pastor. I didn't see the water, but I knew I was standing in it.

\\\/// the real baptism was completely different.

\\\/// i was baptized in my watch care church. i was baptized with eight other people.

\\\/// i was the oldest one. some of my close family was there to join as witnesses.

\\\/// i had on all white

\\\/// i'll never forget that day.

My desire to experience physical baptism again emerged years before I ever got re-baptized. It was 2014. I had a meeting with my home Pastor. I went to his office and told him that i wanted to get re-baptized. i meant it.

Sometimes i have the desire to get baptized again.

What is baptism?

And why would Jesus get baptized?

Why would the only HOLY, PERFECT, 100% human, 100% God, experience baptism and why would it be recorded and talked about years of years after?

Simple, because Jesus was committed to doing the will of His Father. He was obedient.

Matthew 3:17
"And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

There is nothing better than pleasing God. Although there are many ways to please God, baptism is a way to show your hearts expression of commitment to the Father. Baptism is sacred and meaningful. It is God's will that we go to great lengths to obey Him. An obedient heart pleases God.

For those of you who feel an impressing to get baptized, or re-baptized, or for those who hearts have been burning to study more in depth baptism: I say, consider prayer first. Ask God to show you the true meaning of Baptism. Ask him to remove any impurities of your heart in regards to this subject matter. Suggest this to yourself: Jesus leads by example. According to Matthew 3:17 we see where He was baptized by John the Baptist. Also, suggest this: Jesus accepts us with grace as long as we confess who He is with out mouths. According to Luke 23:43, we see where Jesus, as He is nailed to the cross, allowed an unbaptized person the gift of eternal life, and lastly, suggest that Jesus answers those who seek His teaching. According to John 3, there we have Nicodemus (a rabbi -teacher) was taught what it means to experience a spiritual rebirth that only happens by receiving the Spirit of God. We are spiritual beings endowed with the responsibility to present our bodies, hearts, mind, and soul as living sacrifices, born again by Holy Spirit, ready to confess with our mouths, and display His glory to the world - no matter what it takes.

Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again. - John 3:3
