Promises

Psalm 23:6 "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever."
God can not lie. Lying is not a trait that He has. Anything that the Word of God says about you is the truth. There will be times when life will make you feel as if God has forgotten about you, but please, never believe a lie.
We know what lies sound like. Even if the lie is coming from someone opposite of a stranger. Many times the people closest to us can tell us the prettiest sounding lies... Ourselves.
We must remain in the Word of God, because that is where the truth is.
Truth is, God will always sit you in places where you will be exalted through Him. God will never lead you through something that is impossible for you to overcome. Truth is, there is no mountain too high nor valley too low.
He is a good Father and a great Shepherd.
As the sheep of God's flock, we must surrender our lives to be guided by Him.
A life following God is a life full of promises.
Promises that are kept for eternity.
The more you trust in His promises, the more you hear His promises. The more you hear Him say, the more you'll trust His voice. The more you trust His voice, the more you'll dwell in Him.

I am led by God and i believe in what His word says about my life. The more time I spend with God the more I get to know Him and the more i get to know Him, the more i will have a growing desire to invite Him into my heart. May i be as humble as a sheep yet just as eager to taste and see that all of His promises are good for me and to me. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
